Has being disruptive always come naturally to you and do you think we all have an inner disruptor in us?

I’m not. Everyone is different to begin with. But schools and rules wear ‘difference’ out of us. They churn out conformists.

I just question things…. and I saw that in my son, which is why he was going to be expelled every month! they wanted him to sit there for 8 hours and say nothing…. but we have a habit of asking why… until it makes sense to us… and you cant respond with ‘because i said so’… we just don’t do well with that Victoriana approach - we need to test and learn and see what works and why it doesn’t - because perhaps it may work and be better! someone’s got to try? its painful and we don’t want to be like that….

In these times of change lots of people will need to take a situation and see the rough diamond in it. What are your tips to help them do that and see things differently?

A strong sense of self… I worked on myself, understood my strengths and weaknesses, once you know that, then there is a truth and honesty in everything you do. you can be trusted because you trust yourself and dont second guess and wonder if you’re wrong… you stop doing 2+2=5!
